I recall my “hot flash” experience going shopping at a department store one winter in Toronto. While I was doing my shopping, I started feeling REALLY warm and started perspiring all of the sudden. I opened up the front of my coat and took off my scarf, but was still warm…, not just warm, HOT! I felt so hot and irritable; all I wanted was to get out of there as soon as possible.
