Had a keloid scar as well as a dislocated shoulder and River Clinic was able to rehabilitate my shoulder up to near full capacity! As for my scar, it was a 4 year scar which I had thought would never go away but after just two visits it is nearly gone. This is the most professional environment I've been in and I would reccommend it to all my friends. Perfect!!

I have my skin disorders and redness for more than 2 years and finally I met with Dr. Chiang. And he was the only one who diagnosed my skin disorder by sight and then confirmed it with tests. And I see a significant improvement after one month and half of his treatments. Dr. Chiang is really friendly, takes time to listen to your problems. And he is willing to explain to you in details for anything you aren't sure about. Booking an appointment is easy. You only need to call to the River Clinic by phone. And it's usually right on time. I hardly need to wait more than 15 minutes to see Dr.Chiang. I feel very fortunate to be in his care and I would highly recommend him.

When I came to Dr Chiang in September, I had exhausted all the options I knew on treating my hives. Homeopathics, ointments, supplements, and cold showers, etc. could barely relieve the intense itching or reduce the unsightly bumps all over my body. I reluctantly went on Reactine prescribed to me by a doctor, which only managed to suppress the symptoms for about 48 hours. They would reappear like clockwork every evening and lasting through the night. This had gone on for a few weeks before I finally went to see Dr Chiang. Dr Chiang was very professional, polite and knowledgeable during the intake and consultation. I was prescribed a 2 week supply of herbs to take. After finishing the 1st package of herbs, the amount of hives had so significantly reduced that I did not have to take Reactine for the first time in 2 weeks. By the time I had taken the 2nd package, the hives were almost completely gone. It's now been about 4 weeks since my treatment and I am still hive-free. I am grateful to Dr Chiang for helping me, and I would fully recommend him to anyone (and I have) who is looking for a TCM doctor or Complementary Therapy

I would like to sincerely thank Dr Chiang for curing my Plantar Fasciitis recently. I had been suffered severe pain at my right heel for almost a year! Before I engaged Dr Chiang for treatment, I was treated by few western doctors; although they had managed to temporarily relief the heel's pain but its pain reoccurred within just a few weeks period. Moreover, all doctors whom I had visited applied injection to my heel which I really felt uncomfortable. After few sessions of acupuncture by Dr Chiang, I could feel the improvement, and today, I am able to perform jogging after I had since completed my total 8 sessions of treatment last week. Along with the acupuncture treatment, I was given a Chinese medicine which was in granules form; its taste was pleasant and the price was reasonable! While treating my heel, Dr. Chiang had also simultaneously treated my right hand's trigger finger. It was numb and swollen; not stretchable and could not gripe; it is all over now however. Dr. Chiang was very professional; he would patiently explain very clearly and explicitly each and every procedures of Acupuncture's treatment to me during hours of consultation. With pleasant personality, Dr. Chiang was very attentive to me during pre and post treatment by asking and noticing my improvement and concern respectively. As for the clinic, it is very nice and with modern facilities. Overall, a great experience; a beautiful environment coupled with ethical and professional service, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Chiang to other for his services

Recently I suffered an attack of Bells Palsy losing control of the muscles on the left side of my face (very scary).Not wanting to take drugs I did some research,learned that vitamins B1,6 and 12 could help along with accupuncture. I have a chronic cervical disc problem for several years and has been deteriorating. My muscles in the upper back and arm have gone weak and are in constant contraction, hence amplifying my problem even more. Dr. Chiang of River Clinic in Markham is just awesome. He did a thorough evaluation to identify possible root causes. We started our initial acupuncture sessions which later on I extended it because I saw benefits. In the past 3 years I have been to various Chiropractors & Physiotherapists but Dr. Chiang's acupuncture techniques were particularly useful. He is an expert in his field and I would highly recommended him to anyone as I have done to other members of my family. Other practitioners' may be good but he is simply better and brings a wealth of knowledge in TCM, Acupuncture, Bio-mechanical science, Dermatology to name a few of his credentials.

Last year I misscarried and a few months down the road I started to have anxiety attacks and losing hair on my head. My first visit with him was a very reassuring and comfortable one. He stayed in touch with me over email through out my treatment and in between appointments to make sure everything was well. He helped me alot, especially with the anxiety issues I was facing, and my hair stopped falling out almost immediately. Dr.Poney Chiang is a great Doctor and I reccomend that you go and see him and be cured through traditional chinese medicine, the natural way.

Dr Poney Chiang gave me a new look! I had a rash on my face for many years and to be honest I have tried all sorts of methods from western medicine to chinese medicine. I have been to many dermatologists and specialists in the past. I used antibiotics, various ointments, special soaps, special face wash and nothing seemed to help. After a few recommendations on skin care and some topical chinese medicine introduced to me by Dr Chiang I was cured! I now feel more confident and have never been more satisfied with my appearance. I truly appreciate your wisdom and knowledge Dr Chiang. I have already recommended other people with skin issues to River Clinc and will continue to do so. I must say that the establishment has a very modern and refreshing feel. Again can't thank you enough Dr Poney Chiang!!

Eczema and alternative medicine My daughter has eczema. During one of eczema inflammations I brought her to Dr.Chiang. He gave her Chinese herbs that helped to stop inflammation. Dr.Chiang also recommended the cream. I am happy with results as herbs helped to stop inflammation and cream keeps her skin soft. Dr.Chiang is professional and good with kids.

Thank you for curing my rash Dr. Poney Chiang cured my rash that I had on my chest and arms for over a year.
